✨ Eagle Employee of the Month ✨
Congratulations to Mrs. Stacey Lampe, 1st Grade Teacher!
Here’s what some of her fellow staff members had to say:
💛 “She goes above and beyond for her students in all the ways they need her. She genuinely brings love and patience to teaching and deeply believes in each of her students’ potential.”
💛 “She is a joy to collaborate with and a great role model—not only for students, but for me as well. You deserve this, Stacey!”
💛 “Stacey is always so welcoming to visitors in her classroom, from young guest readers to observing teachers! She is an outstanding educator, and our school is incredibly fortunate to have her!”
💛 “She always has a positive attitude and is flexible when setting up Eagle Buddy meetings.”
Thank you, Mrs. Lampe, for your kindness, dedication, and the joy you bring to our school every day! 🦅💛

Happy Halloween from AGS! 👻

Big congratulations to our Lions Club Halloween Poster Contest winners! 🎨✨
We had two winners this year:
🎃 1st Place – Ryder Zobrist
👻 3rd Place – Chloe Rau
Great job representing AGS! 💛

Last week, AGS held a Pink Out Day in support of Breast Cancer Awareness. Our halls were filled with pink as students and staff showed their support for those affected by breast cancer! 💕

🎶 Congratulations to our ILMEA District Musicians! 🎶
We’re so proud of our talented students who were selected to perform in the ILMEA District Ensembles this year!
👏 Elise Kohnen – Band, Clarinet
👏 Abby Schlicher – Orchestra, Cello
👏 Clara Netemeyer – Orchestra, Violin
👏 Berkeley Jacob – Treble Choir
Their hard work, dedication, and passion for music have truly paid off. 🎵💫 Way to represent our school with pride and excellence! 🎻🎤
They recorded auditions and were selected from amongst many musicians from around southern Illinois. They will participate in a festival day of practice and performance at Belleville West on Saturday, November 22nd. Elise is the first from Aviston in many years(20+) that has audtioned and been selected to perform in the band. Way to pave the way for your peers!

Eagles, let’s PINK OUT! Tomorrow we wear pink to show our support for Breast Cancer Awareness and the fighters, survivors, and families we stand with!💗

See you in 1 hour, Eagles! 🎭 📚

🎃 Mrs. Fehrmann’s kindergarteners spent the week learning all about pumpkins — and wrapped it up by making pumpkin pie in a bowl!

🚒🚑🚓 A huge THANK YOU to our local firefighters, EMS, and police officers for coming out and making Fire Safety Day another fun and memorable event! Our students loved learning important safety tips while getting to see the heroes who protect our community every day. 💙❤️

It's Race Day! 🏃🏼♀️ 🏃🏽♂️ 🏃🏼 💨

🎲✨ It was Fun Friday in Ms. O’Brien’s 4th grade math class yesterday! Students rotated through stations to review the skills they’ve been working hard on — including Place Value Yahtzee, Spoons with standard/expanded/word form, estimating sums & differences with dice, place value cards, and even Boddle & Prodigy on their Chromebooks.
Nothing beats learning through games! 🙌📚
