Aviston Elementary School will be observing a traditional snow day on Monday, January 6, 2025 due to the challenging winter weather conditions. School will not be in session. Enjoy a day of sleeping in, hot cocoa and playing in the snow!
The American Red Cross blood drive and all sports practices and open gyms scheduled for January 6 are also cancelled.

On Saturday, these AGS musicians joined many others from all over District 6 at the ILMEA Jazz Festival. They worked hard rehearsing all day and performed in a fantastic concert! Congrats to Rory Gagen, Aubrey Netemeyer and Clara Netemeyer for representing Aviston for the first time in the Junior Vocal Jazz Ensemble I. 🎶
