Fifth grade didn’t let a little weather stop them. They had an awesome time celebrating Earth Day at Carlyle Lake last Friday. 🌎 💚

🚨 Two quick things from the PTA: 1️⃣ Due to the potential severe weather this evening, the PTA meeting has been cancelled. AGS went 3-1 in the ROE tournament today! We got 5th place in the winner’s bracket. Rory also made the All-Tournament team with 13 tossups! We’re so proud of them! 🦅 💙

Happy Administrative Professionals Day to our dream team! 💙 Kelsey – tech lead turned everything director 🤪.. from Chromebooks to state data to the car pick-up line—she truly knows it all 💛 Danielle – the voice on the other end of the phone, keeping attendance in check and taking care of all our student needs 💙 Megan – making sure the numbers always add up and everything stays on track financially They keep AGS running smoothly every single day. We are so lucky to have them! 🦅

✨🎶 15 Eagle musicians and 7 Eagle chorus members collaborated with neighboring schools, making friends and blending talents to then come together for an annual favorite - The Clinton County Music Festival. 🎶🦅 We appreciate Director Heather Netemeyer and the dedicated students for the fabulous entertainment and for always representing Aviston so well!

6th grade trip to JA BizTown is always one of the highlights of the year! Our students absolutely love the chance to step into real-world roles and bring their classroom learning to life. From understanding how money flows through an economy to practicing real financial skills like using debit cards, making deposits, and managing a budget—this experience is truly hands-on learning at its best. Even more importantly, students build confidence as they learn how to be responsible employees, work as a team, and run their own businesses. It’s amazing to watch them grow throughout the day and begin to see themselves as capable, contributing members of their community. We are so fortunate that AGS can provide this opportunity—it leaves a lasting impact on our students long after we leave BizTown!
