This is a big transition year where almost everything they learn will be new. There will be occasional homework assignments that will be for grades. Parents should make sure to check the work over to reinforce things that are taught. This year, we are going to focus more on mental math. At the beginning of every class period, the students will do a rapid-fire warm up consisting of 10 questions. They will be expected to do their best and I will take their best grade for the week.
