Internet Safety

This year, Illinois is requiring that all students be taught about internet safety.  They need to know what is acceptable use and what things should and should not be said while on the Internet.  The students this year will be taught about cyber-bullying, instant messaging, information giving and other research based information dealing with the internet.  Some of the sites below are great tools for parents to read over as well as the students.

AT&T Safety Game Disney "Surf Swell Island" IKeepSafe.org - Kids page Netsmartzkids.org

Typing

In the first semester of school, all fourth graders will be learning the basics of typing.  They will be using the program Type To Learn at school, and practicing at home is what is going to make the students better typists.
