 | With AGS picking up more sports to keep our children active mentally and
physically, we are in need of additional funding to keep up with equipment and
uniform expenses. All new and old ideas are welcome at meetings.

 | The Booster Club is always looking for new ideas to help
raise money. Meetings take place after the PTCC
meetings.
In the past years the Booster Club has purchased the following items.
New track uniforms
New volleyball net
Track equipment
Court Clean floor cleaning kit
Large gymnasium Eagle painting
Uniforms for all sports
Gym banners & updates for team recognition
Pictures and frames for state final-four teams
Softball Pitching Machine
Trees for around the school campus
Trophy case & extension
Eagles Nest sign in the gym
Mascot uniform and megaphone for 'Reagle the Eagle'
Organized the effort to get a scorer's table
Dirt for the school ball diamond
Ice machine
Aviston Eagles gym floor Eagle design
Numerous other smaller items
Annual equipment and first aid supplies

BOOSTER CLUB BI-LAWS
1. The mission of the Aviston Elementary Booster Club is to financially
support the sports activities. These activities currently include baseball,
softball, basketball, cheerleading, volleyball, and track. Membership is
open to all parents of students at Aviston Elementary. A membership roster
may be developed.
2. A Booster Club Advisory Committee will be used to make financial
decisions and purchases between meetings. The committee will be composed of
the president, treasurer, secretary, athletic director, and superintendent.
This group will only meet when necessary to determine purchases needed
between meetings. These meetings may be held in person, via phone, or email.
The athletic director will initiate these meetings.
3. Expenditures made by the Booster Club shall focus on equipment necessary
for competing at a high level, uniform updates, gymnasium banner updates,
facility upgrades involving these activities, safety equipment and other
sports related items.
4. New items of purchase must be approved with a majority vote at a
membership meeting or be approved by the Advisory Committee. Purchases under
$150 must be approved by the athletic director and superintendent. Purchases
at $150 or higher must be approved by the Booster Club membership at a
meeting or by the Booster Club Advisory Committee. A majority vote from the
advisory committee is needed for purchases at or above $150.
5. General membership meetings are generally held during the 1st and 3rd
quarters of
the school year.
