Much of 4th Grade is spent working on grammar and writing skills. 

Daily Oral Language is a chunk of the curriculum which focuses on proper grammar usage - as well as complete sentences, homophones, plurals, punctuation...etc.  D.O.L. quizzes are given each Friday.

At fourth grade level, the 30 minute ALL-STARS program's primary focus is on developing writing skills.  In small, leveled groups, students learn a variety of writing techniques and complete weekly writing pieces.

Other grammar and writing skills are covered with a program pulled from the Scott Foresman reading series.  English tests will be given periodically and announced in the Assignment Booklet.
