The 4th Grade reading curriculum is based on the recently adopted Scott Foresman reading series.  The program is both challenging and rewarding.  In addition, students partake in  class novel shares, 15 minute daily SSR (sustained silent reading) time and a daily 30 minute ALL-STARS (Aviston Literacy Language Strategic Team And Reading Support) program.

Accelerated Reader

Accelerated Reader (AR) is a great way to check reading comprehension.  AR points are required each month.  These points may be earned from stories read in class or at home.  Students who reach their goal will be rewarded.
