I was a former graduate of Aviston Elementary School back in 1975. I grew up in town across from the church. My maiden name is Reilman. My sisters are Juanita Lanter and Michelle Roeper of Aviston. My brothers are Mike Reilman of Trenton and John Reilman of Fayetteville, AR. My mom, Aurelia Wood, lives down the lane road from me. She is a nurse and real estate agent.
After graduating from Central High School in 1979, I attended Kaskaskia College and Southern Illinois University in Carbondale. Bob and I were married 2 weeks after graduation and lived in Pinckneyville. I taught 4th grade there for 2 years before being hired here in 1985. I've been teaching at Aviston in the 5th grade ever since.
Bob and I have 3 kids; Robyn, 24, Jenny, 22, and Mark, 18. Robyn is a third year student at the SIU School of Dental Medicine in Alton. Jenny is a licensed cosmetologist and is also a senior pursuing a business marketing degree at SIUE. Mark just started college this fall. He is pursuing a degree at St. Louis College of Pharmacy(STLCOP). We have lived on Crackerneck Road in Trenton since 1991. We enjoy country living, traveling, hunting, and attending the activities that the kids are involved in. My family has a 4- year- old yellow lab named Holly, who keeps us busy also.
