Hello, my name is Jesse Essenpreis. I am the oldest child of Eddie and Shellye Essenpreis. I grew up on a horse farm north of Lebanon. I have two younger brothers, Wyatt and Ryan and a little sister, Paige, that currently attends Lebanon High School. I attended Lebanon High School where I played both soccer and basketball all four years. After graduating from LHS in 2004, I attended McKendree University on academic and soccer scholarships. While at McKendree I played another four years of college soccer and began to develop a real passion for teaching and coaching. During my time at McKendree I started my coaching career at LHS. I was a varsity assistant for soccer and the Freshman/Sophomore boy’s basketball coach, which I continued from 2004-2010. I graduated from McKendree in December of 2008 with my bachelor degree in Physical Education. Since then I have gone back to receive endorsements in both Drivers Education and Health Education. After graduation I received my first teaching job in Belleville with District 118. I was an itinerate P.E. teacher. I traveled almost every afternoon and taught P.E. at four different elementary schools within the district. I also taught health, P.E. and coached soccer at Central Jr. High in District 118. This is my second year at Aviston. I teach K-8 Physical Education. I also coach girl’s basketball and boy's and girl's track and field. Thank you for visiting my site!
