Welcome Back!!  I hope everyone had an enjoyable summer.  I am looking forward to seeing everyone again!

When you come for Open House, find the locker with your name on it and put your supplies inside.

What's happening at Aviston!

Our school day officially begins at 8:25 a.m., but announcements will begin at 8:20.  Dismissal time is still 3:00.

Six teachers teach the 6th-8th graders: Mr. Rakers (social studies), Mrs. Elliott (language), Mrs. Kuper (math & a 6th grade literature), Mrs. Becker (science), Mrs. Zurliene (literature & a 6th grade social studies), and Mrs. Rheinecker (8th grade literature & 6th grade math, language, & science).

The 7th grade students will have art, computers/Spanish, music, public speaking, health, and P.E. during the elective times.

Any students who go home for lunch still need to have a dated note for that day and to sign out and in at the office.

Short-wearing days are October 15th and after April 15th!  Please follow the handbook guidelines for dress code.  Shorts should be at least fingertip length and "flip-flops" and "heelys" are not allowed at any grade level.

Please leave the birthday treats at home.  Aviston Elementary has a Student Wellness Policy and classroom treats are not permitted.
