What's happening at Aviston!

Our school day officially begins at 8:25 a.m., but announcements will begin at 8:20.  Dismissal time is still 3:00.

Six teachers teach the 6th-8th graders: Mr. Rakers (social studies), Mrs. Elliott (language), Mrs. Kuper (math & a 6th grade literature), Mrs. Becker (science), Mrs. Zurliene (literature & a 6th grade social studies), and Mrs. Rheinecker (8th grade literature & 6th grade math, language, & science).

The 7th grade students will have art, computers/Spanish, music, public speaking, health, and P.E. during the elective times.

Check out Our Schedule to see exactly how this works!

Any students who go home for lunch still need to have a dated note for that day and to sign out and in at the office.

Short-wearing days are October 15th and after April 15th!  Please follow the handbook guidelines for dress code.  Shorts should be at least fingertip length and "flip-flops" and "heelys" are not allowed at any grade level.

Please leave the birthday treats at home.  Aviston Elementary has a Student Wellness Policy and classroom treats are not permitted.
